A lot of bottle (too much, in fact)
Who has invented this dreadful new craze for throwing bottles at concerts? I went to see Blur in Hyde Park last night and there were plastic bottles flying through the air all around me, which was most disconcerting and marred my enjoyment of the occasion. I don’t care if my anti-bottle-chucking stance means I am boring and uncool. What does the bottle-lobber get out of it, I wonder? What possible enjoyment is there in launching a missile into a crowd of strangers and potentially maiming a child or blinding an innocent concert-goer?
